Certification
Every participant who completes the Intensive Ballet Masterclass 2026 receives an official certificate of participation — a document that carries the genuine weight of the artists who sign it. Unlike a standard course attendance record, this certificate is personally signed by all eleven faculty members, the world-renowned dancers and pedagogues of the Vienna State Ballet and leading international companies who taught during the week. It is both a record of achievement and a meaningful connection to the artists who shaped it.
The certificate is presented during the closing ceremony at the end of the Masterclass, after the final showcase in which participants perform the work they have developed during the week. Each certificate is individually issued in the participant’s name, sealed with the official wax seal of the Vienna Masterclass and signed by every member of the faculty.
For young dancers, the certificate is a proud record of a formative week of training. For pre-professional and advanced dancers, it is a meaningful credential — a tangible connection to the artists and standards of the highest level of the profession, and a document that can accompany audition materials and professional portfolios.
What sets this certificate apart is the signatures it carries. Eleven of the finest ballet artists of our time — principal dancers and respected pedagogues from the Vienna State Ballet and beyond — each personally sign every certificate. These are not printed names or digital reproductions; they are the signatures of working artists who taught, corrected and mentored each participant throughout the week.
This is the defining promise of the Vienna Masterclass: that every participant is seen, taught and acknowledged by the artists at the very heart of the programme.
The certificate is designed in a formal, professional style, featuring gold ornamental flourishes and corner accents that reflect the heritage of classical ballet and the prestige of the Vienna tradition. The layout is horizontal, displaying the full list of faculty artist names alongside their signatures, with the official wax seal of the Masterclass affixed below.
Certificates are issued in the participant’s name at the closing ceremony. Digital copies are also available for participants to share with auditions, schools and professional contacts.
